Job Description:
The RAIDO Manager will implement the Navy RAIDO Management Strategy to ensure that all key risks to the achievement of programme objectives are identified, assessed, and managed to within acceptable levels. To support programme decision making, the RAIDO Manager will ensure that risk management controls, documentation and processes are in place and adhered to; this includes providing advice on the management of programme risk contingency where applicable.
To act as the line manager for two subordinate positions:

Business Support Officer

The successful candidate will ideally have:
Good communication and interpersonal skills to be able to communicate with people at all levels, both within and outside of the DDSM area, and represent the work-group with confidence.
The ability to work both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team across different projects.
A methodical approach to data collection with the capability to summarise large amounts of information into essential elements.
Self-motivation and ability to maintain consistent performance and delivery.
Willingness to work on both qualitative and quantitative projects, with training provided if required.
Ability to pay attention to detail to ensure that project reports and papers are of the highest quality.
Good communication skills, both written and oral.
Competence with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel).
