As a Policy and Engagement Officer you will:
• Spend time talking to stakeholders in the community sector, including through visits, to build trusting relationships and support the team to understand the issues facing communities.
• Use your project management skills to make sure we have strong processes in place to oversee our stakeholder engagement across the whole team.
• Lead on a range of tasks to support our engagement work across the whole team including: writing briefing notes; coordinating agendas and papers for meetings; capturing insights from stakeholders to inform our policy development.
• Support the team’s policy work including: drafting core-lines; supporting submissions to ministers and senior officials; undertaking desk-research to contribute to our policy development; drafting correspondence and dealing with parliamentary business.
